A place to feel less alone during infertility

Infertility often brings a kind of loneliness that is hard to describe. People may be surrounded by friends, family, coworkers, or loved ones, yet still feel alone in the day-to-day weight of it.

Support groups offer a different kind of space. There is no need to explain every medical term, defend every emotion, or pretend to be fine. The group is built around shared understanding.

These Fertility Support Groups are designed for people who want a safe and supportive space to be with others who understand some part of the path they are walking.

The groups are open to anyone struggling with infertility, including those who are:

  • Trying to conceive without a clear diagnosis

  • Navigating testing or treatment

  • Considering options and next steps

  • Coping with failed cycles or pregnancy loss

  • Managing the emotional strain of waiting

  • Feeling disconnected from friends, family, or community

  • Looking for tools to cope with stress and uncertainty

There is no single “right” way to be in a support group. Some people come ready to share. Others listen at first. Both are welcome.

What to expect in the groups

Each group is meant to be supportive, respectful, and practical. Infertility can touch every part of life, so the conversations may include emotional coping, relationships, grief, hope, treatment stress, boundaries, and the challenge of living in uncertainty.

The groups are not a place for medical advice or treatment recommendations. They are a place for support, community, and tools that can help people feel more steady as they move through infertility.

Support does not take away the hard parts of infertility, but it can make the path feel less lonely.

Why community matters during fertility challenges

Infertility can create a constant cycle of hope and disappointment. One week may carry cautious optimism. The next may bring grief, frustration, or numbness. That emotional rhythm can be exhausting.

Community helps because it gives people a place where those shifts make sense. There is no pressure to be cheerful. There is no need to minimize the pain. There is also room for hope, laughter, and small moments of relief.

For many people, the hardest part is taking the first step. Sending an email to register may feel small, but it can be a meaningful move toward care.
